Who is responsible

What is collected

When you ask for the checklist, you give an email address. That is the only thing you are asked for.

Alongside it, the email service records the date and time you signed up, the IP address you signed up from, and whether you open the emails sent to you or click links in them.

The site also collects anonymous visit statistics: which page was viewed, which site referred you, your country, and your browser and device type. This is not tied to your email address and cannot be used to identify you.

Why it is collected, and on what basis

Your email address is used to send you the checklist and to send occasional emails about related documents as they are published. The legal basis is your consent, given when you submit the form. You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email.

Visit statistics are collected to understand which pages work. The legal basis is legitimate interest in running the site.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or cross site tracking.

Who else sees it

Your email address is stored and sent by MailerLite, an email service based in Lithuania, in the EU. Their privacy policy is at mailerlite.com/legal/privacy-policy.

The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which also provides the anonymous visit statistics. Cloudflare is based in the United States and processes data under standard contractual clauses and the EU US Data Privacy Framework. Their privacy policy is at cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

Your email address is not sold, rented, or shared with anyone else.

How long it is kept

Your email address is kept until you unsubscribe or ask for it to be deleted. If you unsubscribe, the record is kept in a suppressed state so you are not added again by mistake, and is deleted on request.

Visit statistics are retained by Cloudflare for up to six months.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the data held about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how it is used, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw consent at any time.

Write to [email protected] and you will get a response within one month.

If you believe your data is being handled improperly, you can complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority, Kifissias 1 to 3, 115 23 Athens, or at dpa.gr.

Changes

If this notice changes, the date at the top changes with it.
